Total Immersion Camps in Quebec City

June 24th to July 26th, 2024

The summer French immersion school for teenagers has been offered every summer since 2006. Through this summer camp, hundreds of teenagers live and learn French in Quebec City. This highly international program welcomes students from over 25 countries.

Morning French classes, from 8:30 am to 11:45 am, are organized in 7 levels, and help students develop all four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, in addition to attention to the study of grammar and phonetics.

Afternoon Programs / Evenings and Weekend Activities

Participants can select from a wide variety of afternoon programs. Afternoon options are pre-selected on a weekly basis (a student can be registered to a different afternoon program every week). One or two evening activities plus weekend activities are organized by the program. Weekend activities are mandatory for participants in homestay and in residence.

French immersion through cultural activities

An effective French immersion experience, combining language classes in the morning, French-Canadian culture and fun.

The Multi-Activity Camp is operated directly by our team of dynamic counselors.

Multi-Activity Camp

After French classes, a variety of cultural and sports activities are organized for participants, led by our dedicated counselors. Students are accompanied at all times.

Cultural and Sports Activities: 12:30pm – 4:30pm

Activities

French immersion through arts

An effective French immersion experience, combining language classes in the morning with an afternoon music camp, from 1 pm to 4 pm, with local teenagers.

The Music camp is operated primarily for local teenagers by qualified and dedicated instructors.

Music Camp

French classes are complemented with music lessons offered at the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique du Québec. Classes available on most instruments include private teaching, group classes and supervised practice.

Requirements

Students are required to bring their own musical instrument, if possible.

French immersion through sports

An effective French immersion experience, combining language classes in the morning with an afternoon tennis camp, from 1 pm to 4 pm, with local teenagers.

The Tennis Camp is operated primarily for local teenagers by qualified and dedicated trainers.

Tennis Camp

Our most popular French and Sports program. After French classes, students spend 3 hours per day learning and practicing tennis in Académie de tennis Alliassime, the best professional tennis club we have in Quebec City and the second best in Canada!

This summer tennis camp will allow your teen to practice with local and international students.

French immersion through culinary art

An effective French immersion experience, combining language classes in the morning with an afternoon cooking camp, from 1 pm to 4 pm, with local teenagers.

Cooking Camp

The students can put in practice and apply what they have learned in their French class in a Quebec gastronomic environment.

The cooking classes are held in a professional cooking training center and taught by a well-known local professional chef.

An effective French immersion experience, combining language classes in the morning with an afternoon circus camp, from 1 pm to 4 pm, with local teenagers.

The Circus Camp is operated primarily for local teenagers by qualified and dedicated instructors.

Circus Camp

Participate in an outstanding Circus program. Offered in collaboration with l’École de cirque du Québec, your teen will be given the opportunity to try out the tools used by professionals of the trade and discover many disciplines such as the trampoline, juggling, unicycling, tightrope walking, the aerial disciplines, and many others!

French immersion through sports

An effective French immersion experience, combining language classes in the morning with an afternoon horse riding camp, from 1 pm to 4 pm, with local teenagers.

The Horse Riding Camp is operated primarily for local teenagers by qualified and dedicated trainers.

Horse Riding Camp

Participants in the French and Horse Riding program head to the Centre Équestre Les Écuries Parent after their French classes.

The Equestrian program offers both western and classic riding instruction.

French immersion through arts

An effective French immersion experience, combining language classes in the morning with an afternoon dramatic/plastic arts camp, from 1 pm to 4 pm.

The Arts Camp is operated by our dedicated team.

Dramatic/Plastic Arts Camp

Practice acting and improvisation, and in the process, you will work on pronunciation, vocabulary and fluency. Prepare a short performance for other students. It’s an awesome way to improve oral fluency!

Delve into a wide range of artistic techniques, experiment creatively, and make new friends in a warm and friendly francophone atmosphere.

An effective French immersion experience, combining language classes in the morning with an afternoon hockey camp, from 1 pm to 4 pm, with local teenagers.

The Hockey Camp is operated primarily for local teenagers by qualified and dedicated trainers.

Hockey Camp

After French classes, students spend 3 hours per day in hockey training, the Canadian national sport. The program is designed for hockey lovers and includes team coaching.

Games are also planned on a weekly basis.

*Extra sessions during certain evenings

Requirements

Students must already know how to ice skate. Students are required to bring their own hockey equipment, if possible.

The Soccer Camp is operated primarily for local teenagers by qualified and dedicated coaches.

Soccer Camp

After French classes, students spend 3 hours per day in soccer training. The program is designed for soccer lovers and includes team coaching. Games are also planned on a weekly basis.

Soccer Training: 12:30 – 4:30

Back to homestay or residences: 4:30

Students are required to bring their own soccer equipment, if possible.

 

 

About our school

Edu-inter is a French immersion school accredited by Languages Canada and with a 16-year experience in teaching French to local and foreign students.

Open all year round, we offer different French programs for adults and teenagers from all over the world. Over 2000 students from 43 different countries benefit from our wide range of programs each year.

Our French programs are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; consequently they coincide with programs offered by the Alliance Française and prepare students for examinations recognized around the world, such as the DELF, DALF, TEFaQ, TEF, BRIGHT and TCF.
