TEF Canada and TEFAQ Exam Registration
Please complete the form below to send us your registration request, we will then contact you to validate a date.
Our TEF-TEFAQ manager will process your request and then send you a registration confirmation email within approximately 72 hours.
To confirm your registration, online payment by credit card is required at the time of registration. Once your payment is received, you will receive an official registration confirmation, no later than 3 working days from your online registration.
Please note: A non-refundable administrative fee of $50 applies upon registration.
Cancellation fees are $120 if it is one or 2 skills, and $160 for 3 or 4 skills (see cancellation conditions).
ABSENCE AND CANCELLATION
Cancellations are only possible in the event of serious illness or travel. You need supporting documentation to be able to cancel. It should be noted that the CCI Paris always closes exam sessions 1 week in advance on their Portal. After this closing and if the CCI Paris authorizes your cancellation, an administrative fee of $160 (4 skills) or $120 (2 skills) will be withheld from the reimbursement of your payment. If the CCI Paris does not authorize your cancellation, no refund will be possible. If cancellation is made before the closing date, the same administration fee will be withheld from your payment.

After this closing, if you wish to cancel, you must provide us with supporting proof which we will have to submit to the CCI Paris. If the CCI Paris authorizes your cancellation, an administrative fee of $160 (4 skills) or $120 (2 skills) will be withheld from the reimbursement of your payment. If the CCI Paris does not authorize your cancellation, no refund will be possible. And if the cancellation is made 8 days or more before the date of your exam, the same administration fees will be withheld from your payment.

What is the TEF Canada?
The TEF test is a language proficiency test used when applying for Canadian citizenship or certain permanent residence applications.
What is the TEFAQ?
The TEFAQ exam is required to obtain the Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ), which is necessary for applying for permanent residence in Quebec.
Where are the exams held?
All TEF Canada and TEFAQ exams take place in person at Edu-inter, located in Quebec City.

How can I register for the TEF Canada or TEFAQ?
To register, complete the online registration form and make a payment by credit card. You will receive a confirmation email within three working days.
What is the minimum age requirement?
The minimum age to take the TEF Canada or TEFAQ is 16 years old.
Is there a waiting period between test attempts?
Yes, there is a mandatory 30-day waiting period before retaking the same test, regardless of the testing center. If you register within this period, the Paris CCI will automatically cancel your exam.

What if I register for the wrong test?
It is your responsibility to confirm the correct test with the relevant authorities before registering. No refunds or changes will be made once registration is completed.
How long does it take to receive my results?
Results are typically sent by email within one to three weeks. Edu-inter has no control over the correction time.
How long is my test certificate valid?
Your TEF Canada or TEFAQ results are valid for two (2) years.
