Edu-inter Lodging Options
Accommodation options to complement your French immersion
Edu-inter works hard to ensure that our students’ stay is comfortable and contributes to a positive experience.
Our accommodation department helps students find the ideal accommodation and takes care of making reservations and additional arrangements.
Homestay with a local family
Host families consist of local francophone families, selected to ensure an optimal, culturally rich immersion experience.
Students are matched with a family by our accommodation coordinator based on their interests and profile, and the information we receive from students during the registration process.
Adult students can choose for either 1, 2 or 3 meals included with accommodation in a host family.
All of our teen summer programs include 3 meals per day.
Screening Process of Host Families
- Families submit an application, along with references and police background checks for all residents 18 years and older.
- The accommodation coordinator visits the family to conduct an interview and to inspect the premises.
- Following these steps, a decision is made as to the suitability of the hosts.
Most of our host families in the program have been receiving students for years.

Off-Campus Residences
Individual Residences
Stay in a dorm inside of a Local University
- Avalability: Summer (June to August)
- Each student has a private room
- Common areas are shared with other international students in the dorm
- Conveniently located near a shopping complex with a supermarket, restaurants and cafes
Shared Residences
Stay in of our shared appartments with other Edu-inter students.
- Availability: Year round
- Apartments are fully furnished, kitchen, bathroom, living/dining room, Wi-Fi.
- Share the apartment with 2 other international students from our school.
- The apartment is located 20 minutes by bus from the school
Student residences (Camp Students)
Student residences at Laval University for our camp students.
- Availability: 5 weeks between June and July -The residences are fully furnished, Wi-Fi.
- The common areas are shared with other international students of the Edu-inter summer program.
- The room is shared with another international student from our school.
- The residences are located 15 minutes by bus from the school.
- Residence students are always accompanied by our camp counselors.
Furnished Appartments
We can help you find private apartments for yourself or your family.
- Availability: All year long.
- Fully furnished and all-inclusive.
- The rental includes: Furniture, Appliances, Tableware and accessories, TV, Electricity/Heating, Unlimited high speed internet
- Located near our school and downtown Quebec
