Job Description

Edu-inter, a French immersion school for foreign students, has just celebrated its 16 years of experience this year and is looking for facilitators for the summer of 2024, lasting 5 weeks! .

Edu-inter is a united and dynamic team that will provide you with the necessary support throughout the period of your employment!

Details

  • $17.50 to $18.50 per hour depending on experience
  • 30 to 40 hours per week – Full time, Part time, Seasonal, Student job
  • Day, Evening, Night and Weekend

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Support students in their immersion activities
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of groups during activities and ensure their safety
  • Plan, organize and lead activities in cooperation with young people
  • Promote exchange and discussion between young people in French

Requirements

  • Level of studies: Secondary
  • Diploma: DES
  • Years of experience: 0-2
  • Written languages: Intermediate French
  • Spoken languages: French – Advanced / English – Intermediate

Your Profile

  • Relevant experience in the field with young people aged 10 to 17 (an asset)
  • Interest in young people and entertainment
  • Creative, dynamic and autonomous
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Good physical condition (you will walk to different places for activities)
  • Have empathy and enjoy taking care of young people in the absence of their parents
  • Ability to manage a group of students
  • Knowledge of other languages such as Spanish and English (an asset)
  • First aid certificate (an asset)
