What is it?
The TEF and TEFAQ are two French proficiency exams officially recognized by Immigration Canada and the Department of Immigration, Francisation and Inclusion in Quebec (MIFI). TEF Canada is the test used in an application for Canadian citizenship when you are already in possession of permanent residence; the TEFAQ is used for obtaining the CSQ (Quebec Selection Certificate) to request your permanent residence.
Important: It is not the responsibility of Edu-inter to know which test you must pass. You must contact the CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada) and / or MIFI (Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Inclusion) to know which test you must register. You must consult the above web links.

Exam preparation courses
To prepare for these two French tests and increase your chances of success, Edu-inter offers French courses and TEF / TEFAQ exam preparation courses on-site and online.
The choice of 4 tests
2 tests are required:
- Oral expression (2 topics, 20-30 minutes)
- Listening comprehension (60 questions, 40 minutes)
2 tests are optional:
- Written expression (2 topics, 60 minutes)
- Reading Comprehension (50 questions, 60 minutes)
Important: The candidate is responsible for obtaining information from the authorities where he will submit the results of his examination to find out the test he must take (TEF Canada or TEFAQ) and on the number of tests to be taken (listening comprehension and oral expression and / or reading comprehension and written expression).

If the exam date you have chosen is already full, we will offer you to take the exam at a later date.

Registration
You must read the admission conditions document below and accept them by submitting the registration form.
You will receive an email from inscriptions@edu-inter.net within approx. 72h confirming the exam, the selected competences and the date.
3 days before the scheduled date of your exam, an official invitation will be sent by email with the details concerning the day of your exam.
As places fill up quickly, it is important to submit your registration form and pay when submitting the form in order to register for the date of your choice.
If you fail to pay, your registration will be canceled; if you still wish to take the exam, you will need to register again by completing the online registration form again.
